1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using .mapp you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
.mapp lets you record and visualise the places you have visited. It is a non-commercial project provided for personal use.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Do not upload content you have no right to use.
4. "As is" — no warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Mandatory statutory liability — for example for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or under the German Product Liability Act — remains unaffected.
6. Disputed territories
Map borders and territorial attributions are derived from third-party datasets and do not represent any political position of the operator.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time under Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
